I have a couple of yards that are about 1/2 acre and way to steep to moy with the Lazer Z. Cutting them with a 21 takes about 2 hours each and i was looking at the Metro 26 and wondering if it help at all. How would it hold up moving 30 degree slopes?:usflag:

I was going to buy one this spring but they are not thought of very well on here. I looked them over pretty good and sure would like to have a mower that size. Not enough power and pretty heavy.

They suck balls. Get a 32" or 36" WB used.

If you get a Metro 26 make sure you can take it back to your dealer. They are heavy and the engine power is marginal. I don't think you would be happy mowing slopes of 20 degrees let alone 30 degrees. I used one for a week and took it back. Good luck.

All the yards I would be mowing are weekly and normal growth. No slopes to speak of just normal 5k yards. Did you have any other issue besides the weight and power? I have read a bunch of stuff and just don't know on the exmark 26. Thanks for the info.

Alot of people ask for it though. I know theres no difference but alot of old timers really hate the commercial ZTRs rampaging through the small lawns.

Man, even the commercial 21" mowers I have used are overly heavy and kind of dumb. Then they try to ask $1,200 for one. What a joke. I love the Toro recyclers at Home Depot for like $300. I'd rather go through 4 recyclers than one commercial 21 (exmark). It's like the only thing exmark makes I don't care for.

On subject, that sucks. Try every way you can with your walk behind. If they have to have it pushmowed just make sure you're getting paid right. My estimates for mowing 1/4 acre w/ my exmark and 1/4 acre pushmowing are not the same at all. If you cant get a picture of the hill that would help in getting some technique advice maybe.
