I am looking at a 48" exmark walk behind with a 14 horse kohler. If anyone knows the years these were made or has any opinions on the mower please let me know. Thanks

Why is it you are looking for a Kohler? The 15hp K is a beast.

I myself have always prefered Kawasaki over kohler but I would recomend 15Hp at least. It can't hurt you to hasve the extra power and there will be a day you will come to appreciate it! Many others on here will aggree!!!!!

the TTHP has hydro drive, higher hp and a floating deck while the metro has fixed deck and gear drive.

Basically I am wondering if this 48" exmark hydro with a 14 horse kohler is worth $1500. I am not sure the year but it is in pretty good condition and runs well. Thanks for any advice. Mark

I bought a used Lescohydro w/17hp 2 seasons ago for 1500. It is still running.
As far as this exmark 14hp being a good deal, does it run smooth(motor), does it cut good? does it have some power left in it? If yes , I would say it's a good deal. 1500 doesn't buy you much these days.

Is it floating or fixed deck? if its fixed, sounds like it may be an old eXmark Viking.
