I don't know what type of spindles you have, through-bolt, or cap-screw.

I have an Exmark 36" Viking, with through-bolt design. I had bought bearings last season, about $2-3 each. Saturday, I spent about an hour and half to replace them on one spindle. That includes lots of clean-up time on the housing after the old bearings are knocked out. It is not a difficult job, just takes some time. I have done it before, a few times, so knew exactly the tools needed and the steps to take.

I thought of it later -- should have shot a series of pics so that others could learn. Sorry, no pics. I can provide a written description, if you decide to do it yourself (and if you have the through-bolt design).
