    Mj,

If you really wanted to use it you would need to have an adapter machined that would slip into the larger blade with a hole that was drilled to 5/8. It can be done.

Are the right blades for your machine impossible to buy?

I can get the mulch blades for my 52'' for about 3 bucks apiece online with the 15/16 hole!

You can get bushings from LOWES or ACE to make up the 5/16

all the bushing are made for 1'' hole. Do i just bore the 15/16'' hole to a 1''?

No you turn the 1 inch bushing down to 15/16
