I have a question about my new Turf Tracer. I just bought a 52" and have not used it yet. I currently have a 36" that is not very good at trimming around trees. I wanted a bigger machine. One of the benefits of a 48" or 52", I thought, would be trimming around trees with the overhang. But the TTHP has an anti scalp wheel on the back left of the deck that looks like it will be in the way. Do I need to take that anti scalp wheel off or does it trim around trees good the way it is? A long time ago I had a fixed deck 52" that circled real tight around trees, reducing the amount of trimming considerably. What do you guys think?
    Thanks, Grizzly

The fact that it's a hydro will help a whole lot. I think you will be fine with the wheel there still. I used a 48" TTHP and it worked fine.

The hydro will aid in trimming.

Dont take the anti-scalp wheel off. It is in that place for a reason.
