I am now looking at a 52" TTHP Dual Hydro (Model number TT5217KA) and was trying to get an idea of how old this mower would be. It has the TriVantage deck, it appears to be well taken care of but looks can be deceiving. Anything to I should look for as far as the hydro pumps other than if they leak or not? I am concerned about buying an old hydro mower and having to rebuild/replace pumps and wheel motors. Not sure home much a repair/rebuild kit is for a pump or wheel motor but I am sure its not cheap.

For the $1400 asking price this mower looks good. I plan to make him an offer and I can walk away from anything.

It's probably around 2000 or earlier by a few years. Listen and feel them. I'd say it would be about 500 bucks a piece to replace them and maybe a couple hundred to rebuild. That's doing it yourself.
