Just purchased a 2014 48" exmark X series vantage and have fallen in love.

I personally do not operate this mower as my main mower but can comment on the gains I've seen from my guys using it:
(Guys have previously been using the 2014 turf tracer s series 48 with ecs)

    Pros:
Properties getting done a lot faster, mowing & transport to and from trailer.

    Birds eye view of turf

Compact unit with fold up platform

A lot of fun to use, guys love using it
Ability to walk behind mower if needed (hills/obstacles)
    Cons:
Gas tank, can easily overfill as it has a short neck and are unable to see height of gas.

Not anticipating fall foilage, fast bagger fill ups

I just bought a 36 vantage a week ago. Freaking love it. It is saving me a lot of time. A little weird on hills, but think that's just getting use to the mower , you actually ride it, leaning like a snow mobile. I agree about the gas tank, and I absolutely hate the stock bagging system. Can't wait to mow with it tomorrow!

I'm really pleased with it. I really dislike the exmarks bagging system. It's a 3 piece deal, and is heavy. It is really fun to operate.

According to what ive heard the scag 36 v ride ruts badly due to small skinny tires, not sure of the tire size on the 36 vantage.... My 48 vantage has massive tires

36 vantage tires are 18x8.5 I'm 200 lbs and no rutting, I do have to be careful when turning cuz it'll tear up the grass, but that's just me getting use to the controls, speed and power this thing has
