Local shop has an Exmark 48 ztr, said to be about 4 years old, new deck parts, motor in great shape, I think it was a 22 Kohler, seems to be in fairly good shape.

Asking price is 2800, is this a deal to jump on, think about, or pass on? I am working on getting set up for next year, and already have access to an older Scag 36 WB.

    Any input would be appreciated.

    Thanks

I would check to see how many hours on the engine. I just bought a new 60" Exmark Lazer Z with a 23 Kohler for $7,000 and love it. I don't think you would go wrong with this mower if the engine is good.

If the machine is in good shape and doesn't have a lot of hours on or hasn't been abused by someone then it sounds like a pretty good deal to me.

Previous owner seems to have taken good care of it, it shows 1100 hours on the machine, and the shop said they went through the motor at least. Said to run like a top, but I have not tried it out yet.

That is a deal you should jump on but if he's asking $2800 he'll come down to $2500 i'm sure.
