Has anyone had any problems with the mule drive idler arm not holding grease and rattling. Its the left side of the two big pulleys that turns the blades.

Edited by: dhenegar

Since the Lazer Z is a hydro I didn't think it had mule drive anything.

Mule is the HUGE belt that goes from engine to deck.

You are referring to the deck belt, not the mule drive, I think. And the pivot on the arm rather than the pulley. I have a Kees that is very similar and have not had that problem. Most likely there is a bronze bushing or some kind of bushing in the arm that is worn out. Just a guess.
