Hey all. I must first admit that i am a "scrub" as posted by some. I am reading and learning though. I dont have any home depot or sears "special" equip. I have a couple HP exmarks and an ariens 21". That said, i know HOW to mow a lawn. I can make it look nice and all. That is kinda the extent of it. The "mow and go" kinda company. (TEMP ONLY)
I was at the dealer today and saw his expo book. It was just showing some of the stuff that they were going to show. W.O.W! I didnt even know they made some stuff like that. One machine was on a pivot point of some sort over the deck. When mowing sideways on steep terrain the deck conformed to the terrain and the rest of the machine pivoted so that the operator was perfectly upright and level at all times. I thought it was like something out of starwars. LOL- "May the mower be with you!"
I also liked some other things that i had never thought of but seemed really common sense.
1. A wheelbarrow bucket that attached to the HP mower (forget what brand) so that you never have to haul again by hand. Load the bucket and drive to the dump site. I am gonna try to figure this out and maybe jerryrig one up. Every $$ counts these days as i am recently upgraded.
2. Headsets that had FM and were coms as well. I thought that this would work well when i need to Micro my team on those too busy to breath days.
3. The "Dingo" and everything about it.
I just got to glance at the book and it was brief at best. What else have yall seen. I am really excited to hear what else they have that is cool. Thanks for your time. Boy oh boy do i wish i could afford to go to that fair. Might make it next year though. Now that they are cloning more accurately these days, i figure i can take a break as soon as i can afford my clone........ Scratch that idea. I'm already more jerk than i can stand. LOL
later
Lomers1@excite.com

Acute: It seems to me that you don't get any lawn magazines. All this stuff you mentioned is in them. There are several Lawn magazines that are free each month, so you should get on the mailing list for these. Here are some of them.
PRO Magazine
http://www.promagazine.com/
Lawn and Landscape
http://www.lawnandlandscape.com/
Grounds Maintenance
http://www.grounds-mag.com
Landscape Management
http://www.landscapegroup.com
Turf Magazine
http://www.turfmagazine.com/

----------
<a href="http://pages.prodigy.net/eric.erickson/">Eric@ELM</a>
