I'M looking to get a 8x16 enclosed trailer. Was wondering would a standard tongue be fine for me or would I need an extended tongue? Whats the difference? My concern was some tight turn around cicles..

Man if i was going to buy a 16 or larger enclosed i would go with the 5th wheel haulmark makes one costly but it's a lifetime.

The extended toungue is I think 60inches long, which is longer than the regular one. The longer tounge is better for turning, especially with a longer truck bed. Get the extended toungue!

Go with the extended. Backing up is soooooo much easier, its almost impossible to jackknife.

i think if you get the extended you could pull with a dump or your pick up and the tailgate down

Extended Tounge, usually the jack is set back a bit so you can let the tailgate down while hitched.
