Anyone have one of these for a trailer gate? I am considering buying one, just wanted some feedback if anyone has one. It's basically a springy thing that takes some of the weight of the gate off your back when lowering and raising the trailer gate. Any feedback would be appreciated.

A buddy I work with at the fire station has one and loves it. he did some mods to his tail gate when he got the trailer and it made the gate very heavy. Now that he has a EZ Gate, it much easier. Still a little heavy when you first lift it but a big improvement.

I bought one a few years ago and liked it. This year I bought another one for the other side of the gate. I can lift the 5' gate up with my foot. Definitely get one.

I bought the EZ-Gate. I love it. My back loves it. EZ-Gate only requires mounting on one side of the trailor. Some others require both sides. Buy the EZ-Gate.

They are quite simple to make.

If necessary order one & copy the design for your side gates & or other trailers.

The only thing I don't like about the EZ Gate is that it's a little
noisy when traveling bumpy streets, but I'd never be without
    it.

Anyone have other suppliers for this thing at cheaper prices?

    Thanks!

I made mine with a garage door spring and garage door cables, total cost like $20. Hint: Get the strongest spring you can find.. I think mine is 175 lb spring. Sears has 'em.

Here are two copies I made from my original purchase of 2 EZ Gates.

The copies were much cheaper than the EZ gates & work as well.
