The left trailer turn signal on my '00 F350 suddenly quit working this spring. Neither the 7-wire or the 4-wire plug is throwing a left turn signal to the trailer. The other lights, electric brakes, etc., work fine. The truck taillights work fine. I've traced the wire back through two chassis harness plugs, and can't get a signal. Wondering if anyone else has seen this, and where I should look next. I hate to take it to the dealer to trace at $80/hour. Thanks.

Check your fuses...Sounds like there is not power coming from the fuse block. Does the brake light work on that side?

Fuse box under hood, drivers side, 10 amp mini fuse. Controls the trailer turn and stop lights only. One for left and one for right sides.

Bingo. I forgot about that fuse box. The ones under the dash were OK. It took a couple of days to find a store wih the mini fuses. The turn signals are each 7.5 amp minis, but I bought some 10 amps, too. Thanks for the tip.
