factoring in depreciation on equipment, how do you do that, in general terms?
this is what i use everyday
    i have:
    (2) 21" lawnboys ..bought new $700 a piece 7 years ago
    (2) echo trimmers, ...bought new $230 a piece 2 years ago
    (1) trailmate w/b edger ....bought new $400 7 years ago
redmax blower $3something 7 years ago
husky blower .....free gift last year
    48" w/b bought used $600 last year

same (2) gas cans for 7 years
    same hand tools 7 years

    truck and trailer $6000/$2100

how would you determine my "daily loss" on this?

Your equipment overhead is small but you need to figure in repairs and dependability.
To figure your depreciation as you probably already know is simple. cost of equipment divided by # of hours or days use before needing replaced.
