I have traditionally bought skag and have been very pleased with them. However, I have been offered a 52" Yazoo Kees rider with the 25HP Kohler and 226 hours for $3500.

Not knowing much about them (or Husq..) any thoughts on the machine and the price being asked.

    with thanks

Does it have the H-shaft engine? (ZT Max)
Or the V-shaft engine? (Max 2)

Either way it's a great price if it's in good shape. Grab it if you like it after a demo. Also don't worry about it if there is no warrenty. Y/K-Husqvarna customer support with warrenty issues is non-existent anyways. Plus it's not very likely that anything expensive that's covered under the Y/K warrenty will break anyways.

    Contact Kohler/Hydro Gear/Parker Ross/Bosch directly for support.

The mowers are awesome though. The cut is great and the versitility of the deck is un-matched. Customizing the deck to your needs is really unlimited with the bolt in baffles. The mowers are built tuff and the $3,500 price is great. Just make sure nothing is wrong with it now.

Sorry guys - the machine is a 2001. I tried it out and was impressed with the cut and the versatility. This was the only reason I would consider it over the Skag product.

    So $3500 seams a fair price ?
