Fake turf watered as supplies dry up

    not only is it inane... but they normally water it 36 minutes a day!!! now they've dropped it to 6 minutes on days they will use the field....

    Wonder how much they pay their LCO to keep it trimmed?

    As strange as it seems "wetting" the surface of artifical turf fields is an important part of keeping them in top condition...the duration and timing may be suspect in this case but it is a nessesary process.

    would it not be cheaper to lay drip under the fake turf?

    Why don't they wise up, switch to recycled water, and from field hockey to mud wrestling?
