FAST service from my Grasshopper dealer's svc. dept.

    I hope it's legal for me to put in a good word for my dealer's service department on Lawnsite.

    I've got a Grasshopper 720K, about 740 hours on it. PTO clutch quit week ago Monday afternoon. I took it to the dealer where I bought it, Straight's Lawn and Garden in Springdale, about 4:00 in the afternoon. About 5:00 Tuesday afternoon they called and told me it was ready. The service department goes home about 5, and I told them I wouldn't probably get there until nearly 6:00 when the dealership closes. So they left it out and I picked it up and went right to work with it. Price was very reasonable too.

    I've bought 2 Grasshoppers, in large part because of the quality of Straight's Service Department. I understand their chief mechanic, Mick, has been with Straight's about 20 years. The Grasshoppers have been very reliable, this is only the 3rd time I've used their service department, but it's great to get such fast service when I need them.
