After sitting over the winter the battery in my one year old Fastrak won't hold a charge for more than a few days. I'd like to replace it with a gel battery as they last longer.

Can anyone point me to the proper battery specs I should be looking for?

Still loving the Fastrak though! My first cut was last Sunday. When I was cutting I noticed a neighbor down the street cutting on his clunky tractor. Then I was trimming and he was still cutting. Then I was edging and he was still cutting. Then I was inside watching TV and he was still cutting...

    Thanks,

It is a standard lawn and garden battery, we use a 235 cca version.
I really think a gel battery would be major overkill, but its your decision.
I am not sure you can even buy one.. let us know how you make out.
