    Hello,

Looking for info on my running problem, I have determined that I do not have a spark on one cylinder. Is there a diagnostic test for the coil? Any other suggestions? It's not yet 3yrs since I bought it new and have put 93 hrs on homeowner use. 19 HP FH580V engine. I thought I was buying a problem free Kawasaki....kinda disappointing!

    Thanks for any help.

The only true way to test a coil is with a expensive unit that puts it under a load.
Some dealers have them, most don't.
    Have you checked wiring?
Cleaned rust from coil and flywheel?
Cleaned the mounting points where the coil bolts to the engine?

Thanks for the reply...I checked all those items and they were fine. I put a new coil on and that fixed it.
