I am wondering which engine to get on a fastrak with the 52" deck. Is there a difference (other than price) between the honda and the kholer? Which one would ya'll recomend? Thanks

    Big difference.
The 20 Kohler is a single cylinder engine and is residential grade with a residential warranty (2 years), it carries a 90 day commercial use warranty.
The 20 Honda is a v-twin engine (runs smoother) and is a commercial grade engine with a 2 year commercial warranty.
The extra money spent on the Honda is well worth it if you are using this mower commercially.
    Hope this helps.

The Honda is a quieter engine.
No XR-7's on FasTraks or Mini or Super Mini Z's.
No XR-7's in a 52" unit at all, the 52" full frame units (Hustler Z and Super Z) are being replaced with the 54" XR-7 in a few months.

    Hold off for what?
There will be no XR-7's on the FasTrak anytime soon, if at all, so there are no changes coming to the FasTrak, if you are buying a FasTrak now is as good of a time as ever.
Now if you are buying a full frame Hustler Z or Super Z and you want to wait a few months until the 54" XR-7 becomes available, that is fine also, but this machine is no where near the price of a FasTrak.
