Do you leave the straps on the trailer all the time or do you leave the mount and and take the straps off?

Leave the straps on the trailer. Just flip the lever to take the strap off of the wheel and then they stay until you use them at the end of the job.

Then flip the straps accross the wheel and flip the lever to tighten. I love mine, they are a great timesaver.

I take them off for the winter but if I am doing mulch or whatever I use a tarp to contain it anyhow so the straps are under the tarp out of the way. I have an open trailer so a tarp is a must when hauling other stuff.

pearce is right - use a tarp or sheet of cardboard when hauling things other than your mower (dirt, rock, mulch, etc). But, do not remove the straps and leave the chocs - you will have a heck of a time restringing the straps in the chocs if you do.

-agreed. leave them on the trailer whenever possible. I have a pro-locker for my z, and fastraps for my 32". I don't like the fastraps as much as I do the prolocker, but they fill the need and are much cheaper!!

If you haven't found a helpful enough pic to install yet, let us know.
