Let me tell you something about Jenna she is the most dedicated softball player i have seen. The Indiana Strikerz had two games today we lost both but the girls were putting the bat on the balls this round. Still a team very much in transition but I can tell you by the time summer ball rolls around these young ladies will be a good strong team. In the second game today Jenna moved from behind the plate to third base in the 2nd inning she caught a hard line drive with her bare hand it was the third out of the inning and she was in pain but didn't show it. She was the second batter and was unable to grip the pat. She refused to leave the game and had her hand wraped. the coaches moved her to first base where she played without a problem. She never moved her right arm just kept it by her side she even cayght a foul ball. After a throw to first the picther Ashel would walk to first and take the ball out of Jennas glove because Jenna could not grip the ball she finished the game and went to the hospital and her hand is broken. There is a reason i love softball and jenna and her teamates are the reason. She tells me she still wants to play first base next weekend. I hope she can.

If it seemed like Central Indiana has been getting a lot of rain this month, the data backs up the feeling.

With Wednesday’s rain continuing to fall, the monthly total sat at 8.22 inches of precipitation for April 2013. That ranks third on the all-time list, with meteorological records dating back to 1871.

The only two wetter Aprils were in 1893 and 1922, when 8.60 inches and 8.55 inches fell, respectively.

Wednesday’s rain comes just days after substantial flooding hit central Indiana and caused a state of emergency declaration in Boone County and other areas.

In Zionsville, Eagle Creek crested Friday at roughly 16 feet high, which was good for the second highest flood level of all time. The flooding caused the evacuation of about 15 homes there and roughly 25 people were evacuated to a shelter. The area has remained below flood levels through Wednesday’s morning rainfall.

Another weekend worked both days even in the rain. No work today still wet and dreary. Supposed to be in the high 70's tomorrow.

I'm one of those "kids" that grew up working with Dad. Nothing better then spending time and definitely teaches value and appreciation amongst other things!

Also eventually upgrade to mowing, when old enough, how many prefer to mow than weedeat/trim/edge or blow off?
