Anybody have a favorite turf/horticulture site they would share? I found some information at the NC Sate U. website, but was wondering where the rest of you go for info. I'd like to learn more about the different weeds, etc., and how best to handle them. For example around here the sand burs can get thick and terrible but I read they thrive in loose soil & the best way to battle is to thicken up your lawn.

Bullseye. Thank you for the heads up. The U Conn site is excellent. Anything you could care to know about weeds, ornamentals, etc., it's all in there in one neat location. Their "plant selector" is great! Saved it as one of my favorites. Anybody else that reads this post ought to check it out.

Yup, it's the real deal. It kicks the heck out of the NC State site. I could envision a lap top in the truck to help with questions I don't have the answer for (well, maybe a bit of a stretch). By the way, U Conn roundball rules!!!!!!!
