I have a FL1500 weedeater blower that is leaking oil from the engine/exhaust. Are there any special tools needed to tighten the bolts? Is it a loose fitting problem or something else? The blower runs graet just startiing leaking oil recently.

most likely it has a hex drive (allen wrench) bolt. tighten and see if that helps

you say leaking oil, i assume your talking about fuel mix as this is a 2 cycle correct ? and if there is fuel mix escaping thru the exhaust then you need to check the carb needle seat and the needle setting for its seal. Sounds as if the unit is flooding due possibly to not runing at full throttle (2-cycle) is designed to be run at full throttle so fuel burns 100%.

THe head bolts were loose. Took awhile but finally got it apart and tightened the bolts. Runs ok now. :)
