How fast do you mow at efficiently? 5-7 MPH? Maybe 5 MPH in the morning when its wet and 7 later on in the day when it's dry? This is of course assuming fairly open areas.

Also has anyone figured out how much fuel the mower burns per hour of operation? It may be in the operators manual I dont know because I havent picked it up yet. Just looking for generals to estimate my fuel expenses.

I mow as fast as the conditions and cut quality will allow. But I would say 4-7mph for me personally.

I have a 25hp Kawasaki and this year I used mulch kits during the period of time I was figuring fuel efficiency and came up with right at 1.2gph on my Gravely 260Z.
