ferris 2100

    OK I mow about 4 to 6 acres never letting it get to high.I've decide d to buy a ztr ,my land is a little rough so my thoughts were on a ferris I'm going get the 2100 or 3100 I want this to be the last mower I buy for at home.the 2100 has Kohler efi,the 3100 has the kaw engine .how about some comments a little help.my dealer is going to give me a great deal but those are my choices

    I have and I know the 3100 is better built I wish it had a Kohler bb on it the kaw engine just seems to have more issues. And my dealer won't give me as good as deal on a vanguard

    I was going to get a Ferris 3100 because I cut horse pastures and thought the independent suspension was the only way to go. I wanted something with a heavier deck and less moving parts and went with a Toro 6000 instead.
    The suspension seat is great as I spend 5 hours on it at a time cutting fairly rough pasture. Even though the mower takes a pounding I don't. BB Kohler EFI is another plus for this mower. So check out your other options.
