Hello, I had an older Ferris 3 wheeler with gear drive, and I sold it. Anyway, the guy calls me up and tells me it is slipping out of every gear except reverse. It did it for me only in 6th gear, does anyone have any suggestions?
I said "as is" when he bought it, but I feel I should help out some way.
This model has a 20 hp Kohler and the deck size is not known. I only owned it for 1 week and made a handsome profit.
    What say you?
    THanks in advance

I am guessing that is a Pearless transmission, not positive as to the inner workings of the transmission

    Hey Teach,

Hang tight, I've got a 6 MG parts manual downloading now to identify you trans, But it's a slow go on dial-up....

    Well,

I downloaded three parts manuals and all had hydro units, You will have to identify which trans you have hopefully with trans model numbers. I'm at a roadblock here....

If it is a Peerless it sounds like broken shift keys.

    Good Luck
