I have a 52" hydro. I am trying to fix up the machine and have a question in regards to wiring. On the Operator Presence Control Switch there are two wires. One of which connects to the blade on/off switch and another that connects to the key switch. My problem is there is no wire between the OPC switch and the key switch. I can't tell from the wiring diagram where it has to go either.

Also, I don't think the engine is charging the battery. I tested the wire coming out of the charge circuit and did not get any voltage between that wire and ground. There are two yellow wires comming out of the engine. I get 16V AC between these wires. However I have no voltage out of the red wire on the regulator.

By the way this is a 18HP Briggs with electric start and the mower is a DDS.

    Any help would be great
