I have a JD 737, but only because of the available service.

I agree in part with the service issue. I have a scag and it has worked great. But with other equipment the dealer issue has been huge. I have never owned a jd or ferris.

I have always owned all scag and have been happy with it. Demo'd a ferris and it was pretty nice. Never used JD though

Ive always liked Scags. Have very few problems with them. Actually, on a 52" I prefere a Briggs Vanguard. They always run great for me, even with a billion hours on them
