Directly not their fault but they pick whos part to use maybe they need a new supplier. Come on i got 10,000 racked up in this piece it should run like a champ. not to mention the exhaust still burns the turf.

Did you flush the system when you replaced the wheel motor? If not, contamination from the wheel motor can take out the pump...

Why are you mad at Ferris? Its not their fault. More than likely bits of metal from the wheel motor that went bad went through the system and ruined the pump. They use hydro gear pumps and Parker wheel motors just like all the other companies do.

    Is the pump an Eaton?

And why the hell are you not screaming for a demo/loaner... find your Ferris district sales rep if your dealer wont cough up a suitable cutter - be nice at first...

i got a loaner but can't bag with it! Mad at Ferris it is their job to pick good parts suppliers. Don't bust my balls Hell I love Ferris but this is just another pain in my ace! All fixed now except it still burns the grass if you leave it running for more than a sec. on a lawn.

(a little late here, now that your fixed, but...)

If there is a next time.. Maybe run a mulch kit in your loaner?
It's not usually a big deal to install, and it should certainly get you through a few cuts.

Ferris is very very strong here in STL as far as wb's go, its like 95% Ferris.
We have tons of steep hills and most guys ride sulkys.
At least as far as the wb's go, Ferris has done some very good parts-picking.

i would say it is a 50/50 mix in st. louis with exmark and ferris. every co i pass in one day has at least one of these machines.
