How good are these mowers? Are they worth the money?
I'm looking at a dual drive hydro, 23 hp, 61" cut.
    Thanks

    I have a 48" belt drive, 15hp Kawasaki, Bob-Cat mower and I love it.

My neighbor has a ferris, but the qualaty of cut on the ferris is not too good.

At the present, I have 4 of them...that should tell ya something. They are extremely reliable and cut very well. All 4 of mine have one-wheel velkies too. Anyone on here that knows me will tell you I am Ferris's biggest fan...we've had somewhere between 15 and 20 of their machines over the past 10 years now.

I can buy a demo Ferris, 23hp, 61" cut, elect start, dual hydro drive for 4300, full warranty. I will be cutting a lot of hill sides.
Is this a good deal? This will be my first big WB.

Very good. Since I buy all Ferris machines, my dealer sold the last 2 (earlier this year) to me for $5100 w/o the velke. So you're saving 800 bucks for the demo...
