I have an old Ferris Hydrowalk 36" w/b. I bought it two seasons ago from a home owner who claims he had it since it was new in 1991. He told me the hours were low due to the fact that he only mowed his own property once a week with it. It looked pretty good so I beleived him.
I have used it on a part time basis for the last two seasons so it's still in basically good shape. It never once gave me a problem. Usually starts on the second pull. It has a 12.5 hp Kohler command motor, new tires and belts. What do you guys think would be a good asking price for it?
I know it is a tough question because you can't see it physically. But a good base price for a 14 year old unit that still runs and cuts well would be appreciated. Thanks.

new they are between $3000 and $4000, if it looks good i would say more than $500 for a hydro.

    I'm sure it's a gear drive machine.

    It's a Ferris Hydro Walk 36. I assume that means it's a hydro not gear drive. :)
