Hey guys, need some advice. I'm mowing with my Ferris Z and it just dies from full throttle. I let it sit awhile and it will start up and run for awhile and die again. It seems like it will start once it cools down a bit. It quit about six or seven times yesterday and finally I got it started and put it on the trailer and finished with my other mower. The mower has about 330 hours on it. This has happened a few times in the past but is getting worse. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You didn't specify which engine you're referring to but most kaws are prone to ignition failures. Check for spark when the engine dies.

Should be either your ignition coil or the ignitor. If it's a twin, could be the ignitor causing both coils to fail, or it could be just one coil, it would probably still run just on one cylinder. Check your spark when cold, then after it dies. Good Luck

Thanks for the advice. I'll check the spark.
