fert program

    Your help in the fall was great..Last summer I put in a new lawn with lots of weeds..1 acre ..what fert and herb..should I use ..I am ready .rhode island..I wanted to ask you pro's what to use instead of buying the 4 step program from scott's..I know you can do better...thanks spud

    Hey I dont even know where rhode island is but you should get a soil sample then go from there.

    Everyone here seems to like the 'Lesco' brand.
    I've never tried it.
    I'm getting a 4 step program from the local Co-Op, or Farm Bureau and had great success, much better than the Scotts I'd used before.
    However, without knowing what condition the soil is in currently, even the best fertilizer can just be money thrown away.

    Go for the Lesco you will be happy and it cost less than the Scotts at Home Depot. But don't buy the Lesco at Home Depot Go to Lesco and get it they will sell it to you just tell them your a Home owner they will help you and answer your Questions..
