Fert. Rate Question

    read the label, it usually tell you the sq footage per bag. on straight (lesco)fert, non combo products, a fert like 15-5-15 is figured at 100 lbs measurements. so as it is sold in 50 lbs bags cut it in half. this is all based on 1 lb of N per 1000 sq ft
    So:
    15-5-15 covers 7500 sq ft
    16-4-8 covers 8000 sq ft
    24-2-11 covers 12000 sq ft
    per bag
