    Hey guys
What are types of fertalizers you use in a seasonal program.
I know it begins with a pre M, then a weed and feed then insect control (i'm just using that as an example) but can someone tell me what are the step by step applications. I really don't do much fertalizing, but would like to gain some knowledge on the topic. I haven't really found any answers in searches. thanks

That all depends on where you are. In Missouri this is the "normal" apps:

    1. Preemerg + fert
    2. Preemerg + fert and spray for Broadleaf
    3. Grub Control + fert or Summer Fert (24-5-11 50%PPSCU or 5-10-31 10%FE)
    4. Fall fert or Seeding
    5. Winterizer 46-0-0

Some might depend slightly on the type of grass you intend to fertilize and your climate.

I know it's been beaten to death, but check with your state on the ability to apply fertilizer without a license. Most states have a license in order to apply pesticides (fertilizer, herbicide, insecticide, etc.).

    Good luck!
