I am new to the lawn maintenance business and have a few customers that want fertilizer added to the lawn . The only experience I have is with Triple 13. I am in the Dallas area. IS there a website or info that tells when to apply fertilizers and what type are the best for this area?

    Thanks

Look for some books on maintaining a good lawn. They will tell you. If you don't want to do that, I'm sure you could even go into a local Home Depot and ask there.

This guy is just starting out, give him a break. This is why most people only use this forum for a month or so, then leave.

Seriously the search function is like a library of information about anything you have ever dreamed of. With 30,000 plus members everything has been asked at least once. Check it out...

General Rule would be to apply 1 pound of Nitrogen/1000 sqft every 7-8 weeks the lawn is actively growing.
