Fertilizer blend???

    I have been using poly plus products from john deer for a while and like them no trouble. has any one use slufer coated stuff and does it gum up in the spreader. is it easy to spread and will it burn

    John deere's poly plus is sulfur coated urea.

    Sulfur coated is fine. I suspect that the Poly Plus is sulfur coat with a final coat of polymer plastic--better as the granules do not crack as easily.
    Both products should spread well.
    In times of high humidity--the urea in the mix tends to attract moisture--that may cause problems.
    Both should be about equal, in that there is low burn potential, when used at a reasonable rate by experienced workers that don't suffer many tip-over accidents.

    Is it a blend with Bio-Solids? When we use bs blends, the spreaders get pretty gummy.
