I'm just starting out in business and have some of my customers on a 7 step fertilizer program. I use all Lesco product. My first step is the Dimension pre-em. I have already applied my first rounds of this. Even after the Dimension application I have noticed some weed germination. Is this common? Could you also give me some ideas as to what everyone is doing for fert. programs. Thank you!

weeds will no 100% go away...a couple of facts to know..a single weed seed head can produce over thousands of more weeds..second weeds can be dormant for up to 30 years.

    I have a 8 Step Fertilization program

    Early Spring
    1. Fertilization and 2. Pre Emgerence

    Late Spring
    3. Fertilization and 4. Broadleaf Control

    Late Summer
    5. Fertilization and 6. Insect Control

    Early Fall
    7. Fertilization

    Late Fall
    8. Winter Fertilization

Sometimes the early fall fertilization isn't necessary and so it's only 7 steps. It all depends on the type of lawn.

Another thing about post-emergences, sometimes you might have to do 2 to 3 applications.
