How to you become certified to put down fertilizer in florida?
lol............looks like nobody wants to help ya............I'm in NC, took a test and passed. Each year I take classes to keep up my credits. Florida? I dont know, try looking up the Florida Agriculture Department and see what they say. If you have a Lesco in your area, go by there and ask them. They usually know when classes and test are available for you. They want you to have a license so they can sell to you. GOOD LUCK
Straight Fert... no problem. Weed and Feed, round-up....problem.
And no there is no easy way to get a fert license in florida.
3 years experience to sit for the test. Those 3 years you can work under a CPO, or get a 4 yr degree in entomology, botany, agronomy, or horticulture.
