Can anyone help me out with a program to keep this lawn in tip top shape all year. This is the only yard i maintain with Fescue. Its 22,000 square ft. Lesco has a program but he said the last maintenance crew used that program and it looks like crap. Crab Grass in it and fungus. Taking care of fescue is new to me I take care of 90% Zoysia. Thanks

You need a better, and by better I mean the best fescue around that tolerates heat and is very resistant to brown patch. Go with Tarheel 2 its the best.

If you were using Lesco stuff, this would work well:

    Sep 18-24-12
    Oct 32-5-7
Dec 32-5-7 or 18-0-0 (Ammonium Sulfate)
Feb 18-0-7 with Stonewall 0.43% applied at 1.0 lb/AI per acre
    April 28-5-12
    June 5-10-31
    July Lime if needed

The key is to avoid fertilizing with N during the Summer months, and get your preemergent out in February at the correct rate.
