Does anyone have experiance with snapper 21" mowers? theres a few on CL in my area for 75-100 and from what i hear they are great mowers. Right now i have a toro but the personal pace grinds the sprockets in the drive a lot we've already replaced them once. Getting this would fit in my plan, i can use it to speed up mow times on some of my harder lawns, then next year hopefully ill be able to get a walk behind.

Another question is how exactly do you go about fall clean up? how much do you usually charge? im talking about mostly residential places.

Finally are echo weedeaters good? the last time i was at homedepot i looked at them and they seemed very well balanced. Right now my current is a john deere, i believe its a commercial model but i can't recal. Just trying to get a good sense of what brands are good.

Generally, snappers are considered to be great at bagging, and Toro is considered to be great at mulching. Both cut great. I hate the controls on a snapper though.

Fall cleanups have to be done by bid only. You're just going to have to learn by trial and error on that one. Perhaps even tell a potential customer that this is your first year doing fall cleanups and ask him to work with you to find a price after you finish. Thats how I learned.

Choose your trimmer based on comfort. Dont go to Home Depot to make your decision. Go to a dealer and actually use them so you can see what is most comfortable to you.

Echo, Stihl, Shindaiwa, Redmax are the popular brands.
