Any suggestions on Field horsetail in lawns?
    In garden areas?
I would think glyso would work fine if applied?
    Thanks

24d wont touch this stuff I am talking about. It isn't a broadleaf, it is a spore reproducer and the underground stems can reach a yard and a half long.

Are you talking about Equisetum. spp? That weed is normally killed by either halosulfuron(Sedgehammer) or chlorsulfuron(Corsair). A MSO type surfactant is probably the best to penetrate the waxy stalks. In a garden, the halosulfuron is better, not as persistent and nonselective as chlorsulfuron. Also, chlorsulfuron will kill fescue.
