Do you guys know of a fill/conversion/yard site?

What I need to know is a place where I can onvert and know how much yardage I will need?

ie) 150 sq feet of pavers

    Gravel - 4"
    Bedding sand - 1"

How many yards will I need to make it 4" of gravel? 1 - 3 yards?
How many yards will I need to make it 1" of bedding sand? .5 - 2 yards?

    Get what I'm saying?

Look at the "sticky" at the top of the maintenance forum, the one on calculating mulch yardage. The principle is the same.

i usually estimate 1 ton at 100sq. feet 2 inches deep. so i would get 1 ton of sand and 3 tons of aggregate.

Pick yourself up Kerr's Cost Data for Landscape Construction. All you need to know about formulas and such. Also goes through and tells you aproximate labor cost on all sorts of installations. I had to buy it when I took an estimating class at college. Best money I ever spent. Try to get the newest one though. The one I have is from 1994 but I think they have published a newer one since then.
