If you had 5000.00 to spend on a 1 man start up focusing this year on 80% residential and some small commercial accounts what would you buy?

You already have a 21 honda mower, echo gass trimmer, echo blower, echo gas hedger, 5.5 honda gas/20 gal air compressor, 6x12 enclosed trailer, 73 f350 crew cab.

why would you buy it and avg cost.
    TIA
    Shawn

I'd get a new 32" or 36" wb and a used 44-48" wb as well because most of the yards here have gates.

I would look a for a lightly used compact ztr. A 48" or 52" depending on the size of your accounts.

I agree with cochino. We always bring a 48 and 36 because not all of our lawns are big enough for a 48 and those old gates are tough to fit a 48.

Do you have gated areas? If not, consider a 42" Stander. I think you can get one of those for about $5K. If those aren't for you, or you don't think they will work on your properties, then a quality hydro walkbehind, probably 48", or whatever you think is best. Always demo before buying.

Exmark has a new 34" ztr coming out in spring. It's msrp is $5000. Best of both worlds if its not too steep.
