Here are a couple pix of a trick we use on our high HP sand dragsters,,as you know sand will kill an engine in a second so I decided to apply this extra level of protection to my mower. In the leaf season, as you know, our mowers are exposed to extremely high levels of dirt etc.....I may be a little paranoid but extra protection never hurt.
These Outerwears filter down to .005 micron and do not restrict airflow. Like I said we use them on 90+ HP 2 stroke sand dragsters so our little 20-25hp engines won't be restricted.

BTW: I got mine in matching"Exmark Red" :D

And if I find Exmark putting this on their mowers anytime soon, they better send me some free stuff at least!:)

That's an excellant idea TurfPro. Now if we can just figure out how to get one of those to fit over a Kawasaki 14 hp aircleaner housing we'd be set.

    Richard,

What shape is the Kawi filter? If it's round,or square for that matter ,,,really any shape, they can probably make one.
It takes them about 7-10 days to make custom sizes(like this one).
