I am happy (but actually sad) that I finished winterizing the equipment today. Took 3 days to complete the task. I am pretty happy with the situation.

I have learned though that a screwdriver slammed through the side oil filter works just as well when the little bugger won't come off. (lets just say that he and I had a difference of opinion on who wanted to budge first)

An oil filter wrench will work in a jam also. or a vise grip

I have yet to encounter a filter that wont submit to my G.I. joe kung-foo grip.

the vise grip would not budge it.

I'm running behind on that and hope to get to it at the end of this week. Hopefully, the oil filter doesnt give me the same trouble as you have had tiedeman.
