Not meaning to nit-pick but is that grid sticking out of the wall?

That KW is beautiful. What can it haul legally weight wise?

Actually per the county inspectors you have to have the grid sticking out until after final inspection is signed off. We definitely don't leave it out after inspection!!

Payload is pretty light on that truck, if I remember it is just a hair over 7 ton depending on what body is on it.

That's interesting on the grid, thankfully I don't have that here.

Could you run a pusher in it to get some more payload? That is the one big negative with the hook type trucks.

The last few months have been real interesting with inspections. We use to get a footing inspection, they every grid layer, and then a final. Lately they look at the footing (with out even getting out of there truck) and then say don't call us till your done.

The truck was set up with a double channeled frame in case I ever decided to add a pusher. I doubt I will ever put a pusher on it though. It typically runs dumpsters all day, which average only about 2-4 ton. When we are slow with dumpsters I have my driver hauling for the landscape crews so every gets there hours.

Your work is looking good as always, and the truck looks great in the track loader photo! I see that truck around the City occasionally and it's always nice a shiny.

Would you have any interest in donating a free or reduced cost roll off to a project I have going through my work at a non profit community development corporation? We're working to stabilize a historic building through crowdfunding and donations. More info can be found on our project page. We're in the demo phase right now and are in need of dumpsters and hauling. Send me a message at matt@onsl.org if you are interested. If you can't do anything right now I certainly understand.

No, the guy we buy dirt from bought it 2 or 3 years ago. It is nice and shiny and fun to run though!

Matt, no promises but I will look into it this weekend and get back to you.
