finding commercial work

    how do you find commercial work? this is my 2nd year in business and I'm having a hard time getting properties just to bid on.my pricing is very fair for my area.i make tons of calls to management comp.,condos,small business go out and meet with people just by showing up ,etc... is there any other methods of being able to bid on commercial work. i would like to get away from residential work because the head ache of getting paid and the dealings with people its not worth it.any suggestions

    You might consider joining your local Chamber of Commerce. I would think that many of the businesses that you want to work for would be members.

    Plus in your residential contracts put a late charge. Make it an extra $5 to $10 and you'll get paid on time. But stick to your gun about your late charge, because you'll have a couple that will try not to pay it.
