I am somewhat new to the landscaping world. Any projects I've ever done have been when people called me for a bid. I was thinking that maybe there is a site somewhere that you can find jobs to bid on that are posted publicly? Whether it be commercial or residential, is there such a thing out there?

Any homeowner that posted a project online to be done by the lowest bidder is not someone you want to work for.

I think he is refering more to like 'the blue book' which is a commercial bidding network... personally, I dont want any of that work. Also these 'property management companies' that call and say go look at this commercial property and here is our price.. want to do it? i.e. mulch weekly maintenance etc... I had one job that was about 120 yds of mulch... the company said they will pay $31/yard mulch installed!! HA!
